Brief
I am a graduate student at the International Centre for Theoretical Sciences of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (ICTS-TIFR). My research interests lie at the interface of many-body quantum dyanmics and quantum information. More details about my work can be found here. A complete list of my publications is available on my Google Scholar profile .
Before joining ICTS-TIFR in 2023, I was a Bachelor's Student at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. I grew up in Sundernagar, Himachal Pradesh, where I also completed my schooling in 2019.
Research
My interests revolve around locally interacting many-body quantum systems out of equilibrium, and how they furnish universal features in quantum information scrambling. My current research focuses on the following problems:
- Quantum chaos (beyond Random-matrix Theory) in locally interacting systems. Correlation structure beyond the Eigenstate thermalization hypothesis and connection to the spatiotemporal profile of information scrambling and entanglement growth.
- Thermalization, localization and integrability. Information theoretic characterization of these dynamical regimes.
- Nonequilibrium phases and phase transitions in quantum systems: Measurement induced phase transition and its critical properties; Phase transition in nonstabilizerness (“Magic”).
- Sensitivity of the dynamics of quantum information, entanglement and other quantum resources to the presence of hydrodynamic modes in systems which host local conservation laws.
